RIVERDANCE

"Riverdance" is a modular design of 20 mixed media panels, created to complement the architectural space. It showcases the Spokane river ecosystem with native species. Ducks and trout literally fly and swim off the panels due to the 3-D elements within it. Surrounding floor to ceiling windows allow viewing from the street, ground floor, second level and while using the escalators. It is a site-specific gateway project highlighting the center's riverside location.

"Riverdance" was completed in 2011, mixed media: acrylic on wood and canvas panels with copper, clay, and mosaic accents, 22 x 24 feet, commissioned by the Spokane Public Facilities Dept with a $45,000 budget. It is installed in the lobby of the Spokane Convention Center, Spokane WA.
